The new CD "The Martinu Cello Sonatas" wins the special "Supersonic Award" from the Magazine Pizzicato.

28.05.2008 - Mattia and Massimiliano back in Munich

The Duo Zappa.Mainolfi will perform on October 25th 2008 at the Max Joseph Saal in the Residenz in Munich.The program will include works by Bach, Schnittke, Rachmaninoff and Grieg.

27.04.2008 - The Duo returns to the New York's Carnegie Hall

The Duo Zappa.Mainolfi will return to Carnegie Hall in 2009. The benefit concert for the kids of Soweto will be sponsored from the P.Ambrosoli Foundation and the Italian Cultural Institute.

22.12.2007- 3rd South Africa Tour

From February 20th to March 9th 2009, the Duo will be visiting South Africa for the 3rd time.The Tour organised by the Pim Broere Promotions will include performances with the Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra as well as duo recitals in several cities of SA.

21.10.2007 - Martinu for Claves

The 3 Martinu Sonatas recorded in Berlin at the Deutschland Radio Studios, will be released in May 2008 under the label Claves Records.


9.09.2007 -  Tour for Plan International

The Duo Zappa.Mainolfi will be performing in 13 cities around the world. The Benefit Tour organised in cooperation with Plan International will take place in 2008 & 2009.Dates and locations will be published on this website.
